Last night. At 9:00 PM eastern time I hit "send" on my e-mail and submitted my script.
I did NOT get a "mailer daemon" but I also did not get a "Thank you for entering" either. So I'm a little worried. I read and re-read the e-mail address repeatedly to make sure I didn't mess it up. I will call them on Monday and ASK if they got my submission. If not, then I guess I am ... outa luck.
Nerve-wracking.

huh???
would this be a break of the wga strike?
i'm not being sarcastic, i just don't understand what kairos is or any of this.
Hi Jasdye,
No, it's not a violation of the strike. Kairos is a scriptwriting contest, and so they are NOT on the list of companies who are being struck by the Guild.
However .... in the off chance I actualy WIN this thing, my script will then be made available for studios to look at and buy. In that (unlikely) event, I will be obligated to say to all those studios reps who will be banging down my door: "I'll be happy to discuss this with you after the strike is over."
